Apply today for a 2012 Youth Policy Summit!

You can apply:

Our short application asks for personal information and a brief writing sample answering a question related to the Summit. We also encourage those who qualify to apply for a YPS scholarship.

 

YPS applicants are accepted on a rolling basis. We encourage you to apply early as spaces do fill up! If you are applying for a scholarship, please submit your application in a timely manner, as funds are limited. Scholarships are available for program fees only- if you are in need of travel assistance, please contact a Program Manager. Once you apply, you will receive your acceptance and scholarship package (if applicable) within 7 business days.

Payments

A $50 deposit is required to complete the application, and the remaining balance is due three months prior to the program start date. You will receive an invoice as well as payment reminders prior to your final payment date. If you have additional questions about payments, please contact us.

You can pay by check or credit card**.

**Please be aware that you will be charged an additional 4% processing fee for all credit card transactions OVER $50.

Program Discounts*

We offer program discounts for students who sign up early or recruit a friend to join them at YPS!

$50 discount for early bird applicants who apply before February 15, 2012

$50 discount for students who recruit a friend to attend YPS with you! Just make sure your friend mentions your name on their application, and we will take $50 off your invoice.

*Program discounts do not apply to the NCSSSMST program.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

TKC offers a cancellation policy in the event that unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending YPS. Once you have received your acceptance email, your $50 deposit is nonrefundable under any circumstances. If you cancel after being accepted, the following cancellation fees apply:

Over 60 days before program start date: $200 cancellation fee*

60-30 days before program start date: $500 cancellation fee*

Less than 30 days before program start date: No refund

*Your cancellation fee will be waived if you find a student to replace you in the program.
